Chapel Street Primary holds a deeply personal place in my heart and family history. My grandfather served as the caretaker, living on the property with my dad and his siblings, and my aunty has taught there for the past 35 years. During a spontaneous visit one afternoon, I painted this piece to honor those generations of family ties and personal memories connected to the school.
